Leann, If You Are Going To Cry

Please Cry With Me

Lou Rogers

Tears of sorrow

I sure don’t want to borrow

For I manage more then a few on my own…

But if you are going to cry

Then share my thoughts

Of all the things that could have been

And used to be

And please, cry with me.

My life has abruptly turned a corner

Happiness with my wife and life, today

Tomorrow, I am a mourner -

I can’t describe how losing Ann

Has changed the landscape of my mind

If I could only better understand -

-Knowing very well that it is not for me to do

I still sometimes question God’s plan.

Maybe as my old friend time -passes

So will all my unfilled dreams…

I thank God for having Ann and I

Living more closely together

During the last months of Ann’s life.

-I try not to find fault with God’s decisions

I only want to be with my wife…

. . .
